Diese(r) sollte Verkaufs-Erfahrungen mit FMCG-Herstellern und Händlern haben und eine Affinität zu digitalen Entwicklungen aufweisen. Die Person kann gern auch älter sein und muss „keinen graden“ Werdegang aufweisen. Das Gehalt wird p.a. bei ca. 150 K€ inkl. variablem Anteil liegen.  Der Standort wird in einer norddeutschen Großstadt liegen. Position Description: Sales Director

Sales Responsibilities

  • Lead sales of all products and Services.
  • Deliver budgeted revenue and gross margin targets for new business initiatives and the core, underlying business.
  • Develop and implement a marketing plan using external resource where needed e.g. PR, telemarketing, design support

Existing Client Responsibilities

  • Develop Strategie relationships with key German FMCG Companies and retailer clients
  • Ensure a high quality Service is delivered to clients and, at a minimum, ensuring expectations are met and at times exceeded
  • Leverage well-established US and other international relationships

Team Leadership/ Management Responsibilities

  • Build, develop and lead the Sales- and Business Development team
  • Ensure the Sales- and Business Development Team are effective and accountable through coaching. recruitment and performance management

Executive Team / General Management Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the business’ overall objective, goals, strategies and plans (OGSM) to ensure future growth
  • Implement any changes and improvements necessary within the business as a whole

REQUIRED SKILLS

Role Overview

This role involves delivering new business revenues and retaining existing clients for Germany. More specifically, this role requires:

  • Excellent relationship and commercial management skills
  • Strong team leadership skills
  • Knowledge of the FMCG and grocery retail industries and FMCG promotional marketing
  • Sound Knowledge of Digital Marketing
  • Understanding of the consumer and digital couponing landscape
  • The ability to identify opportunities to develop new solutions to meet dient needs
  • The ability to manoeuver within clients’ often highly complex matrix structures
  • The ability to identify key decision makers and influencers within these organizations

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications and experience:

  • Educates to degree level
  • Highly results focused and with an impeccable track record in business development
  • Background in business development within a blue-chip, FMCG multinational, direct marketing, media or communications corporate
  • An existing network of contacts within FMCG and retail
  • Experience of a more entrepreneurial environment leading new business growth
  • Experience in Digital Marketing
  • Proven ability to drive and deliver significant top-line growth and gross margin from the existing and new Clients.
  • Fluent English – spoken and written
