Since 1978, McKinsey’s Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) Practice has been studying and benchmarking the customer- and channel-management practices of leading CPG companies in the United States. Starting in 2012, they expanded the research to other regions. The survey now covers Asia, Europe, Latin America, and the Middle East. This multiregional focus has allowed them to develop a global perspective on the practices that differentiate performance.
